According to the help docs, it's v9, but I know that's changed now that the player changed.

Anyone know what the new minimum version is? I've had some complaints that people can't watch videos anymore (including myself).

Any assistance appreciated.

Could you post specific details on what browser version, OS and specific Flash version you tried?
I've tried 9.0.47.0 and 10.0.45.2 on Firefox 13 on a WinXP VM and it's not working for me.
I'll see what our team says if something about the minimum requirements for Flash changed.

Oddly enough, my HP touchpad plays them fine.

I justed wanted to know the new minimum so I know what I need to upgrade to. With these being older systems, I need to stay away from the cutting edge versions that tax everything more.

The help page was outdated on the Flash requirements. This has been corrected. Flash 11 is the minimum version that we currently support. We'll also be correcting the Flash detection so that users of older versions will get a proper notification that they need to upgrade their Flash to view the video.

Maybe your HP touchpad doesn't use the Flash player but plays the video via html5 as is done on most mobile devices?

My touchpad actually uses flash. It was the same flash viewer on the computer and the touchpad. That's the only reason my brother got me a touchpad--flash. This way, I can review SM pictures and videos while I'm away from a desktop.
