Hope you have a good trip, I was around the area for a week and it was fabulous. Here ia link to a good report for the area from Parchers resort

The lower areas should really be firing up. The higher elevations were fading compared to what they were when I got in the area on 9-30 and 10-5 when I left.

I was up there that morning too, I arrived a little late and it was pretty full of Photogs so i just shot around the lake.
The morning this was shot I was there early about 5:30 there was only one other person there. It got pretty busy that morning too but not as crowded as Sunday morning
