I planned on photographing the moon Friday afternoon from Glacier Point. Unfortunately clouds obscured the moon. Went for plan "B" instead...

Plan B is good. Sweet light in both. Good work.

#1 is exceptional, with the rain pouring in the background and the stripes of sunlight on the rocks.

I especially like #1, the dappled light and rain clouds really add drama, nice job

These are both so nice it's hard to choose. I'm really digging the pinks in #2. Sometimes photography trips don't turn out the way expected and we end up with something different and maybe even better. The key is to get out there and take your chances. Good job, Mike.
