Replicating similar parts of someones site?
I really like this person's website on smugmug and was wondering if anyone can guide me on replicating pieces of it such as the front page and the gallery (how it is all neat and uniformed). The only thing I can do is copy and paste CSS codes and filling whatever is needed inside it.

http://www.photographicessays.com/

Also how would I get rid of the .smugmug after the website name? Example: changing mnsfdlkf.smugmug.com to mnsfdlkf.com?

You may want to start here:

http://news.smugmug.com/2011/05/25/

And see how far you can get with that. Then come back to us here for any specifics you are looking for.

As for the url, you would need to set up a custom domain for your site. The information on how to do that can be found here:

Kay so far I got the slide show up with a navbar. I have a few questions:

How do I get rid of the background for the homepages and the pages that the navbar links to?

How do I make a page like this: http://www.photographicessays.com/Pa...1290438_fFm5rP ? Same with the other pages.

Also for my gallery page I don't have anything showing. I was wondering how do I get my galleries up and looking like this: http://www.photographicessays.com/StudioGallery

And also on the bottom of this page: http://www.photographicessays.com/ there is a link to a twitter, facebook and what not. I was wondering how can I do something like that?

Thanks!
