Coupons and base price
I feel like this is one of those questions that SmugMug tried to explain to me already and I've since forgotten... so I apologize for being a redundant newbie.
If I give a customer a $20 credit towards prints, I am only charged the base price, right? So if they bought $20 4x6 prints at $1 each with ezprints, I'd be out roughly $2 provided I make the customer pay for shipping? |

With print credit coupons you are charged the base price plus our 15% of your markup, and any shipping charges, if you choose to include them.
It's explained in detail on this page here: http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/93347 Lindy |

If you give a percent discount which would be equal to $20 on a given purchase, you save yourself most of the money you would have to pay to SmugMug as your overall profit would be lower or perhaps nothing at all in the case of a 100% coupon on a $20 dollar item.
Just sayin....
