Very nicely done. excellent images.
The swallowtail looks like one we have here in California. I was in Germany one summer, and apparently people were calling into the local university to report that hummingbirds had been seen in Germany again (there are fossilized proto-hummingbirds at the Messel pit). What I gathered was happening, is that these moths are migrating north, and people who hadn't seen them before mistook them for true hummingbirds. |
