Hip Hop Girls
Spent last weekend in Chicago with my daughters dance company at a competition. Being as I had to be there anyway, between rounds of golf, I thought I'd do some spec shots.

The competition was held in a hotel ball room on the same type of parquet floor that I'm sure they use as a dance floor for wedding receptions. Lighting consisted of the ceiling mounted incandescent lights that you can see in the pictures. Spent two days at 1.4 / 500ss and 6400 ISO.

Here's a couple I like...

I really get a tickle out of the look of joy on my daughters face when she's dancing.

Played around with this one to give it a Indie Movie Poster Look. I see a few things I'd do a bit differently if I were to do it again, but according to facebook "likes" it's a hit with the girls. (Names are blurred at the bottom for privacy reasons)
