Hide photos and remove "gallery pages" on display
Hello. I'm fairly new to Smugmug. A dumb question: how do I hide a photo so it will not show on the gallery? Also...can I get rid of the "gallery pages: 1" message at the bottom of the display? Thanks in advance...

Frank, try the "hide photo" tickbox lower right on your gallery page - you will still see the photo but visitors won't. Our excellent help page on the topic:
http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/93298

For the second question, post in the customizing forum here on Dgrin and do post a link to your site/gallery page.

What style gallery is it in? In Smugmug style there's a little box under the main photo to check for hiding
the photo. You will only then see it logged in.

The "gallery pages: 1" message might also depend on the gallery style, got a link?

Andy, thanks. Got it. However...now I get that funky "This gallery has no photos to display"...not exactly what I wanted. Oh well. Allen, the link is as follows:

http://ffotos.smugmug.com/Other/About/23619293_k3J2DS

I've tried all the different styles, but I can't get rid of the "gallery pages". So I hid the one photo, but now I get the message above. Either way, I have to remove one of them.

Thanks in advance for your help.

OK. I'm trying to embed the photo in the body of the gallery description using HTML. Then I don't need to display the photo (it's a shot of my business card). If I show the photo, I don't need to embed using HTML, but I don't want to see "gallery pages:1" for the one photo that displays. Either situation will work for me. Link: http://ffotos.smugmug.com/Other/About/23619293_k3J2DS. Thanks...

Log out and look. The box has some needed maintenance buttons on it when logged in so needs to be visible.
