A question is answered
Couple of days ago, I was idly wondering if anything fed on or attacked hoverfly larvae- I was photographing some at the time as they munched their way through aphids.
Well my question was answered yesterday when I came across a parasitoid wasp busy egg-laying in a hoverfly larva - first time I've spotted this !

I saw this series the other day and it made my stomach turn. I know I am weird an all but it made me thank my lucky stars there are no predators our size that do such a thing. Awesome captures! My son asked me TONS and TONS of questions. More than I wanted to answer lol
