Keyword disappearing
This is the first time I've posted in a forum. No surprise it comes straight after my attempt to customise my smugmug site. http://bikinisyndication.smugmug.com/

I wonder if anyone can help me out; I have keywords activated on my homepage, and the number set to accommodate all the keywords I have. When I view my homepage as I'm logged in all keywords are visible, BUT when I log out many of the keywords go missing, can anyone suggest why this is so?

Thanks, Rob.

They're appearing logged out - can you take another look?

Visitors will not see any keywords from unlisted and passworded galleries, only you when logged in.

I checked your site, and in many of your galleries, the gallery setting "Hello Smuggers" is set to No. This would prevent keywords from images in this gallery from being indexed or shown for visitors on your site. To fix that, just go to each gallery, click Tools > Gallery Settings, and make sure Hello Smuggers is set to "Use site-wide setting" and save the changes. That should be all you need to do!

tried that above
Thanks for your help, I've tried suggestions but to no avail. I've gone through and made sure the gallery setting are identical for all galleries and it's still playing up, here's a screenshot of owner view... Could there be any other settings throughout the site that I need to check?
Thanks, Rob.

When you toggle the Hello Smuggers setting, it may take a little time for our site to index the keywords for visitors. Sometimes, you also need to "Refresh" the homepage boxes by hiding them, and then showing them again via the Homepage Layout menu. I did that for you, and now I'm seeing the same keywords appear in the owners vs visitors view now.

Hope this helps!

Hi Josh:

I knew we'd meet again. I was having the same problem. Sure enough, your recommended solution (including having to refresh the keywords box) did the trick, so once again you're my hero.

I have to say, however, that I don't think we Owners should have to worry about that. Rather, the programming behind SmugMug's Owner View should cause all relevant boxes to automatically refresh any time we change a setting.

Anyway, thanks once again for yor help.

Larry
