I have selected the printmark digital download thinking it will allow people to download the image but it will still have my pre-set watermark on the image. They can pay a lower rate to get the FB image but when I went back to check the settings it is telling me there is no printmark image available. Can you please explain the difference in these. Is there a way they can download the image WITH my watermark on it for FB?

Hi Kristen,

The printmark is similar to the watermark, but the printmark only applies to purchased prints or downloads, the watermark applies only to the display copies that we create for viewing.

If you want to sell the printmarked digital download, you first want to make sure you have a printmark created and applied in the gallery, otherwise if no printmark is designated in the Gallery Settings that product won't be available for sale.

Once you have the printmark in place in the settings, you should be able to see that option as a viewer. :)

This helped a lot! Thanks... Yesterday I had a client purchase web size digital downloads for FB. I have the printmark set but she says it didn't save with my watermark on the image. Am I doing something wrong or am I understand the printmark wrong? I thought that the digital download would save with my name on the image if I have the printmark set?!

The pricelist assigned to the gallery offers no printmark download products. It only includes regular download items. If you wanted to sell your downloads with a printmark, you would need to add the printmark download products:

This is because I removed the feature because my client downloaded and there was no print mark on her images!!
