The only thing about my site that i would change to me, would be if i could figure out how to have it drop down a box when you hover over the "portfolio" and be able to select which album you wish to view. I don't like this version http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=168571, as it's not what i want, i want the box to be clear like the strip running across my site.

You have a good start, but there a couple of things that jumped out at me.

You have hidden the breadcrumb and not replaced it with anything else. That means that when a viewer is in a gallery they have no idea what gallery they are viewing. See Are you really sure you want to hide the breadcrumb? Think of your viewers!

In addition, you have removed the entire breadcrumb as opposed to just the breadcrumbtrail. Your galleries aren't locked into a style but without the style button in the breadcrumb the galleries inherit the last style viewed and the viewer has no way of changing it. If you want to remove the style button nicely, select a style for your gallery instead of leaving it as view controlled.

Since you removed the breadcrumb rather than the breadcrumbtrail you've also lost the slideshow button.

But oops! You have a pro site and you've priced your images. Unfortunately you have allowed access to the Original. With access to the original you are allowing viewers to take your images for free. And by the way right click protection doesn't protect anything. See ORIGINALS = a gateway to free photos, & right click protection is NOT PROTECTION.

Yes - simple, clean & easy to navigate. Your 500px referral link doesn't work & I'd definitely suggest that you have those open in separate tab or window. Some don't like this but IMO, it's more important for your visitors to stay on your website (djordjevic-photography.com) UNLESS you have referral links back to your site (which your Flickr does not). For example to have your links open separately, your 500px referral link would look like this:

You've chosen to remove the breadcrumb which in my opinion is a huge mistake! I count a total of 13 different galleries. How are your visitors supposed to remember which gallery they currently are viewing let alone which ones they'v visited? What happens as your portfolio grows & you now have 50 galleries? Think about your visitors. Yes, sites look cleaner without them & in this case, I'd recommend a modified breadcrumb. Joshua Sargent, an excellent landscape photographer is a great example of using a modified breadcrumb. I hope this helps....

You're right, it is in the tab title. But I never look there and I suspect I'm not the only person with that habit. The name of the gallery should be within the page. Why should I need to look above your banner and navbar and essentially outside of your site to determine what gallery I am viewing?

I know, it's your decision, not mine. I suspect I'm not the only person who would be frustrated though.

Thanks guys! I recently changed my username on 500px but forgot to change it here in the banner (they aren't so important but just for people who want to connect with me on other sharing sites). I'll fix that, and thanks for the tips Travis and Denise. I got your point, I see what do you mean about breadcrumbs and I will see what could I do about it these days. I like to keep it simple but I guess they you are right. You have been very helpful.

edit: I fixed it a bit, I hope it's easyer to navigate now with modified breadcrumbs.

On my wider than tall laptop your banner takes up just under half of the vertical viewing space. This does not highlight your photographs; it highlights your banner. See The purpose (and size) of a banner image.

You have your email address in clear text in your guestbook gallery. This is an invitation for spambots. You might want to consider adding a contact form to your site instead of exposing your email address.

You've included a link to your Flicker site, but I see no way of returning from Flicker back to your smug site.

Ok so here goes nothing I feel like I'm at a point where some input on how my site looks, things to change or not change, things to make better would be good for me. I am trying to go for a simple but yet up to date look to my site. Nothing to flashy but at the same time not be your run of the mill website. One thing I know that needs some work is my Logo it just doesn't look right to me. Though for what it is I'd love to hear some feed back to get me thinking about stuff I need to work on or some things to keep in mind. One last thing I am new to coding so talk slowly haha. OK here is a quick tip, click on the submit button of your contact form without filling it at all and you will see what I mean. Increase the height so your contact form will be completely visible in this situation as well. I think pro users like you can add a contact form directly on SmugMug, you don't have to go for woofo.

Thanks, yeah I've been meaning to tackle that contact page totally forgot about it. I've seen people post about getting ride of the "woofo" thing at the end. I personally like woofo's contact page because its more user friendly. With smugmug's contact page it tends to be a little buggy when using it on iphone's and things of that sort. There's not much feedback that can be given since you are using the standard smugmug layout without any customization.

The one thing that jumped out at me is that you have a pro site and you have priced your photos. But there is no reason that anyone will need to actually purchase your photos since you have made the originals available for viewing. That means they are available for free. If you want to see your photos, you should disable viewing of the Originals. See ORIGINALS = a gateway to free photos, & right click protection is NOT PROTECTION.

To start with I'd recommend changing the height of your banner. On my relatively large monitor it takes up half of the vertical space in a maximized browser window; I haven't looked on a laptop. See The purpose (and size) of a banner image.

You may also want to consider switching to a 4-across display with the thumb above title for your category / subcategory display. That gives viewers a faster look at the galleries available without scrolling. See # 10 in the ADVANCED Customization FAQ.
