Hi Y'all,

I arrived home on Sunday after three weeks of traveling including two weeks spent in Kenya. I came home with around 16,000 captures so the next few weeks (months?) will be a post processing frenzy.

I'll have lots more to say about the trip and the workshop that will never adequately describe the experience. Right now I'm going to go with magical.

Here are a few of my initial work-ups. I've just begun to work up the images so these may not be the final products but its a start.

EDIT Instead of doing mutiple threads on the trip, I'm just going to post additional images in this thread. If you're so inclined check in here to see new images as I continue my post processing. If you're interested in a more detailed description of the trip and workshop check out my thread in the Journeys Forum.

Well welcome home Harry . It does look like you may have had a good time Do not forget to do a thread on lens use for the trip and if you had only 1 camera and 1 lens you could have taken what would that have been ? Please do not say canon in that thread OK Glad it went well

More wag. Less Bark.
What? No squirrels

I like the first two. Do you know if they're litter mates?

Thanks Jeff. If I could only take one camera and one lens (god forbid) I would go with the Nikon D3s and the Nikon 200-400 f/4.

Welcome back, Harry.

The second shot is extremely pleasing to me in this excellent group.

Unfortunately Africa is infested with squirrels too. I tried to get a few pics of them after I threw some rocks but the buggers were moving too fast.

The first two were siblings.

I may also want to mimic your trip sans workshop fee. Would love to get info from you on this, Harry.
