I also want to thank everyone who voted for mine as well!
Although I think it would be a good idea if the rules would let me enter but not place for qualification since I'm already qualified for the next Major Challenge. I hate the idea of taking a second spot and leaving someone out. But I love these challenges and the feedback I get.

I had originally gotten more caught up in the story than the shot, but after taking a closer look at the shot, Simpson, it is fantastic. Well deserved.

Congratulations, SimpsonBrothers. I knew as soon as I saw your pic my chances of winning were all but gone. JAG had me really worried too. Before I even went out and shot my pic, my dad pretty much told me I wasn't going to beat the little girl running with her dog. Always great to have such a vote of confidence from family members.:) I knew where he was coming from though. It's a great shot. Thanks to everybody for the votes.

That's what I was worried about too! Kids and dogs seem to be a surefire win every time!

I used to think this, until I went back and looked at the entries and winners. I now believe that a dog or kid photo is held to as high, if not higher, standard as any other entry.
