I need a thingy -- an adapter for a Canon Angle Finder C for a 7D
I misplaced the adapter that I didn't need for the 40D.
Any suggestions? I can't find a part number on the Canon site. :(

Good luck ... you would think someone would make an adapter "kit". I had to hand make one to slightly adapt my Zeiss right angle viewer to my 30D for telescopic focusing after looking everywhere.
And heaven forbid you misplace the Canon adapters ... hopefully someone will know of a source!

Canon parts might be able to locate one, but it will probably be pricey.
You might alternately just get another right angle finder like: http://www.amazon.com/Opteka-Profess.../ref=pd_cp_p_1 |

Is your Angle Finder C in a leather-like case? If so you may find the other adapter in that case, in a small pocket. I needed to use my Angle Finder C with my 7D and spent two hours looking for that adapter. Then I recalled where it was ![]() Phil |

I was hoping this post would quietly die!

I found mine in the same place about 4 hours after the original post. I was too embarrassed to 'fess up. :) Thanks for thinking of me! (sheepishly...)
