Another from tonight - Moonlit Walk

Another from Bedford tonight.
I was shooting on the embankment in b&w when a lady & her kids walked along the path away from the camera. I took a couple of shots & like how this turned out.

I gotta say I like the feel of it, too. The perspective and the different textures in here is slightly confusing, but the bright string of lights and the feel of winter pull it together for me.

Good explanation schmoo, I couldn't work out what is was myself, new I liked it but couldn't find the reason.

When I took & pp'd this I wasn't sure why I liked it.
I think part of the odd feel comes from the lighting, the ground is lit primarily by the string of lights but the trees are lit by a green highlight.

Here is one of the colour shots in a straight raw conversion with no pp and no people.
