Well, thanks! That's my old (about 20 yrs old) Nikon 400mm f3.5. It's a manual focus, and it doesn't meter very well on my D300. But it really does yield some great bokeh, even when it's not wide open.

I say the judges had it easy!! At least they got to pick 10... now we only get to pick 1 out of all these?!

Great photos everyone!! Normally there's one entry that immediately grabs my attention and gets my vote... but there are quite a few vying for my vote this time around!

Things went really sour for me in the first half of this year. Wasn't able to go to Cali to see Nik. Maybe next year. This economy is kicking my bootay. But things are looking up. I'm glad your still around Aaron. ;-)
