Here are three simple tutorials we hope will encourage you to try something new.

The Hot Seat

A lifelong interest in landscape photography has led Eyal Oren to make a study of his adopted hometown of Marblehead, MA. As you can see, his dedication is paying off!

Red One camera
Anybody seen this:

http://red.com/cameras.htm

It's a digital cinema camera, but it can also be used as a still camera.

12MPix at 60 fps! (I don't see that it actually records 12MPix. It only records 2540 Progressive.)

Wow, that's one crazy camera, but it better be at $17,500, plus the cost of a lens! They actually have a 300mm f/2.8 you can mount on it too for (only) $5,000.

Depressing - lessening the skill (or in my case luck) required to capture action shots.

I've been folowing this cam for 6 months or so now and FWIW it's still vaporware. Looks promising that it'll actually be produced but until it is it's just a myth. There is serious $$$ and talent behind it though so I have hope. Cool product though.
