Making the move to the 5D mk III so somethings got to go to help pay for it. Up for sale is one of my favorite lenses on my current Canon 50D:

1. Canon EF-S 17-55 f/2.8 IS + hood - $900 (including shipping/handling/paypal or other fees)
Purchased new Aug 29, 2009.
Just came back from a Clean and Check at Canon Professional Services where it received a new IS mechanism (sweet!). I was hoping it would just have some of the dust blown out behind the front element (which they also did) but this was a very pleasant surprise. Took two quick pix with lens to confirm it works but otherwise it is untouched. I would consider it on par with Canon's refurbished lenses where this one goes for $940 + $70 hood + tax + s/h. Comes in original box. Sorry, can't find the original manual or warranty card anywhere (though Canon did not ask for it with this last service)
