Well, you guys certainly didn't make it easy on us this round!

I will say that out of all the other rounds I have seen, this one rolled out the toughest finalists to vote from. Many of my favs are here; and it is going to be tough to choose.

Everyone did such a wonderful job...

Keeping in mind I started at 7am this morning scrubbing the gallery and walked away for a few hours when I got stumped on narrowing down choices, it felt like anything but light-speed for me.

Guess that means people prefer more pins and needles? I can certainly oblige.

... Just amazed is all, just accustomed to the pins and needles, but in no way, shape or form prefer them

Wow. That was quick. Great choices, BTW. Not so sure about mine being included, but I do appreciate it. There's just too many really great images this time. Can we vote for 3 or 4?

I must say that while this round had fewer entrants than some, the standard is really astonishingly high -

bravo to everybody

(as the unofficial feedback thread shows, just about any of the shots could hsve been chosen as finalists and been winners - now that's quality!!)

Congrats to all, I definitely wouldn't have wanted to judge this one,
and based on the wide differences in everyone's faves,
I'd say that any one of us could/should be in the voting round!

All the shots are nice, but I think there are one or two that really tried to do the assignment and not just match a song title to a photo in their libary. There are lots of song titles in the world and it's easy to just mix and match.

That's how i narrowed down who to vote for. It came down to reading the lyrics of two songs I didn't know!
