Shooting in 720 x 576, but the videos are squashed into 4:3?
Hello,

This is my first post on here, I've not been long on Smugmug either (why it's taken me so long - I don't know).

Anyway, my quetion which may or may not be a Smug issue, but It's driving me nuts. I have a Canon FS100 which shoots in 720 x 576 (I believe) but when I play it (or upload onto Smug) it plays in a squashed 4:3 format.

I have no problem with my 720P (from LX3 (though I've not yet tried to upload any of my TX1 footage) and my 640x480 from various cameras (Canon S3 IS, Fuji F20). These all play fine on Smug (and my PC)

Has anyone got any ideas? I tried SDcopy which has a tick box to set 16:9 but this doesn't seem to work.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Carl

TX1 vid loads fine
The TX1 vid loads fine on Smug, and retains its aspect of 16:9
