An old friend and I took a walk
We forget sometimes the old friends we have had. My D50 had been much neglected since I got hold of the D300, but I remembered that it first started that itch to take more and better photographs. I still love the versatility of my D300 and the better quality of captures overall but the D50 still takes some nice shots. D50 with my aged AF 300mm f4 ED
SO we took it out for some exercise. My work day road trip to the Bay area and back to Sacramento

Great Horned Owl at the Yolo Bypass this morning looks like he had a rough night with the rain

He was still in the same tree that afternoon but he had dried out and he let me get a lot closer too must have been in a better mood
