This is a somewhat complicated answer. I don't have a Contarex lens to play with so this answer is from research of other information on the Internet.

The Contaflex cameras and the Contarex lenses did use a mount register that would seem to allow a very thin adapter, however the diameter and design of the mount makes it impossible to design a Contarex to EOS adapter. Parts of the mount would have to be 0 mm thick.

I was not able to find anyone producing a Contarex-EOS adapter and that seems to confirm the measurements.

Additionally, the Contarex lenses don't seem to have aperture rings and the aperture was controlled by the camera and linkage to the lens. If you could build an adapter you would not have aperture control.

Also, there were 2 versions of the Contarex F4 135mm (Zeiss Tele-Tessar 135/4) , one for 35mm film Contaflex bodies and one for the Contaflex 126. The lenses built for the Contaflex 126 have an undocumented register and mount.

There is no compatibility between the lens mounts on the 35mm film Contaflex bodies and the Contaflex 126.
