Is it possible to make the gallery description several lines instead of one long line?

Is it possible to make the gallery description several lines instead of one long line?
If you simply press 'enter', you can add a line to the gallery description. Additionally, you can add your own html tags in the description. Putting <br> will add a break. <br><br> will add two breaks.
