View Full Version : Suggestions for tripods under $200 (legs/head combo)

Hi,

I'm looking for a tripod combo with legs and head for under $200. I know that I need at least support for 10lbs and would like the tilt head instead of a ball head. I found this at B&H but not sure with so many options they offer, is this just a standard high quality tripod? I would be using this tripod with my Canon EOS 3 and my G3.

I just purchased that tripod in green last week and i've been very very happy with it.

Thanks for the replys.

I actually found out that the 3021B Pro can extend vertically so I think I'll go with that for the legs. Still deciding between a ball head and traditional 3 way head.

Here's what I think I'm settling on. The ball head supports 13lbs and that is more than enough for my cameras. I also used my friend's 3021 and thought it was just perfect in weight/stability.

Don't know if there's much difference in this grouping of Manfrottos, but I have this one; just one step above the one you're looking at:

I've been estremely pleased with this one; but I don't think you'd go wrong picking any one of those in that area.
