I'm leaving for San Francisco for a week on Tuesday. Aside from the obvious photographic targets, can anyone in the bay area point out some places to get some good shots? I'll hopefully have a lot of free time there and I'm planning on taking a ton of pictures.
Here here...ive got some time there also next month.
Whats about guys....the steet cars get a tourist around ok ?

The public transit system goes everywhere... Get the pass. Its worth it. When we were there we rode the trollys and the rails dozens of times, if we paid per ride it would have cost a lot more and been a big hassle.

I found this page on photo.net but Andy's examples are by far much better. :)

I have ventured around SF a few times and really like walking from Pier 39 area to Fisherman's Warf. Then you can walk down to the Golden Gate bridge and visit Fort Point. Another place I like is the Leigon of Honor, it's really nice especially the trails leading to the coast line.
Few pictures from various SF trips.
