Greetings all - I made my first "real" attempt at taking some fireworks photos this weekend while at the lake with my family. I took a bunch, but I thought this one turned out the best. This was taken with my D70 and the Tamron 17-50 f/2.8. This was taken at f/11, with a 16 second exposure (thanks to bulb mode).

When composing this photo, I intentionally shot wide enough to catch the reflections of the fireworks over the lake. I did not anticipate, though, that you'd be able to see the late evening deep blue sky behind the fireworks. That was a pleasant surprise.
Any constructive criticism? Thanks!
-Erik
