These are awe inspiring creatures, and i couldn't help but feel guilty for him being in a cage for my veiwing pleasure.

Ya it is sad to see. Quite often humans forget their place and we think we are the king of the jungle. It happens alot here in alaska. We kill wolves and bears so that we can kill more moose and caribou its so frustrating! :wxwax

As far as sadness and guilt go Don't :rolleyes. Leave that for "Disney"
There are countless reasons it is the way it is :deadhorse, but I feel it has to be this way at least for us. Enjoy your time here and share more images of it !! :thumb

I was bored yesterday, too. Would have liked visitors, even if all they did was poke a lens in my face.

He does have a look of misery. Would make a good poster. On the other hand, a member of an extremely endangered species who is safe and well cared for, yet confined, that might make a poster for the other side.

You didn't. Excellent of you to share image and feelings. I feel the same, which I could like they say "talk to the animals", but I'm Human and gotta get on with it!! :cry
