This was going to go into the feathered or scaled challenge...until I realized I shot it a day early...:huh

I was out of the loop...in New Mexico last week!

This was taken at the edge of the parking lot at Carlsbad Caverns, New Mexico.

Gorgeous. Love shots like this- Ocotillo, prickly pear, yucca, etc. Looks like it couldn't have been too long after a rain.
