uploading

I am currently uploading my pictures from my camera to Adobe Elements 5.0 and then uploading to my smugmug site. I am wireless and it is SLOW. If I use the smugmug button on Adobe, I can't use Adobe at all...to edit other pictures or upload more pictures.
Is there a better way to take the pictures off my camera before I upload to smugmug....1) no editting needed and 2) when I need to do minor editting(cropping, etc). I am willing to purchase another program!!!
I can't get the Active X to work....any recommendations......I am preparing to shoot 1000+ a day with instant uploading necessary....I will be plugged in for that shoot.

Hi, yes I recommend using the Simple Uploader, it's independent of PSE and you'll be happier :)

Can you recommend something other than Adobe Elements 5.0 for simple edits, cropping and downloading to before uploading to smugmug....
