Is the shopping cart tied to something other than your log in?

I put prints in my cart from my laptop. I've now moved to my desktop and am putting prints in my cart from here...the laptop prints are nowhere to be found in my cart. ???

How does that work and should I just place the order from my laptop since that cart has +20 prints in it?

The cart is saved in a cookie so it's machine specific.
