As of a few days ago, I had never got a good shot of a hummingbird. Now this guy has been nice enough to hang around long enough to let me take some shots.

I hope I'm not posting to many:D

Not to worry, Mark. You can never have too many hummers. Great series :thumb

Fan'friggin'tastic! The three showing the flowers are just spectacular images! The first is too mind you but I like the flowers in the photos as well. The color is just so awesome and the flight of hummers never cease to amaze me.

#2 is excellent! :thumb

I tried burning the highlights on everything but the bird and liked the results...makes the hummer pop out at you.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Ric, Did you use the burn tool for that or shadows/highlight feature? I was concerned that the hummingbird might get lost in the background

Well...I use Corel Photo-Paint...the effects brush/burn highlights. I'm sure PS will do the same thing...just how I can't say. Maybe someone else will chime in here.

Thanks Ric, I just tried it and it does make it pop more. You learn something new everyday:D... I found that the dodge tool works as well, just an opposite effect.

Stunning photos. These little guys are very tough to capture. I personally like #2 the best. Great Job!

:rofl #2 and #3 look like he's worshipping the delightful food before him.
I really like how captured he is next to those pretty flowers. The first one makes me want to snatch him, though I never could.:clap great shots!

It's not a huge change...but I think it adds depth.
