So I am needing some change! I really like the idea of tabs instead of a nav bar. Like this:
http://dgrin.smugmug.com/gallery/180...725_ayMhg-L-LB (http://dgrin.smugmug.com/gallery/1801307/#118048725_ayMhg-L-LB)
(different colors though)
I also like how the mid section is different from the background, but how do that and get it to "blend" more?
All help is greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!! :thumb

Hi Alex :wave
Tabs are essentially the same thing as a navbar, only with a graphic so that it looks like tabs.
You can choose the colors yourself, of course, both for the tabs, and 'mid section'. I think it's mainly the color-combination that make it 'blend' the way you want to, so think about what colors you would like.
My site (http://www.ivarborst.com) is a bit extreme in the use of colors for most people, probably. There are a few reasons for that, but you can make your site have the colors you like. It's important to have an idea first of what you want, both 'look' and color-wise before you start working on graphics and code; I can promise you that it will save you a lot of headaches.
Once you know what you want, we can help you put it together :thumb
I hope this helps.

Ivar,
Thanks for responding! Im so excited!
I already have the colors that I want. I know what I want my site to look like, just not sure how to execute it! I tried a post earlier with all my requests, but didnt get responses (must have been overwhelming!) lol
Anyway, I want a white background.....I have the new banner made up.
There would be 6 tabs - Orange (ef8266), Green (92d290) and Blue (4767bb) - then repeat.
I do like the idea of a 'client' tab like this:

K that is a start....then I have only a 1 more thing (that I can think of) that I would like to add to my site. I am thinking it is pretty simple though (fingers crossed).
Thanks!! You rock!! :bow
