I've been messing around with the smudge brush in CS3 lately and It gets quite addicting. After searching the web for tutorials, I decided to do a couple to see what I could accomplish. Here are a couple of my first attempts:

The second one reminds me of a polaroid manipulation. If you don't haven't heard of this, do a Google search on "SX-70 manipulation" and you'll see what I mean.
I like your result. My only nitpick is that the eyes seem a bit too sharp compared to the rest of the image.

The process certainly produces a different look. I think the sharp eyes are what makes the picture. It's not my style but I like what you've done here.

I love the dog shot, it looks more realistic, more like a photo, than the Lion.
I like the Lion shot too, but it looks more artsy, graphic like.
The results really do look great RKnecht, they put a smile on my face when I saw them....... I tell you that dog is wayyyyyyyyy cute :lust
Was there one tutorial in particular you decided to follow??
Thanks for sharing :thumb .... Skippy :D
