I really like your layered reflection of the birds. Very cool! The first butterfly is cool, was he sunning? I like the second butterfly but wish he was completely in the shot. Anyway, all are very good. You must of had a nice late afternoon strollhttp://dgrin.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif.

Ben,
Good stuff :thumb :thumb
I agree with Natalie, that layered reflection shot just sucks you right in. Very, very nice :clap You also did real well on the Heron shots. The BIF would have been very nice without the building in the BG :rolleyes Your GBH guard is real nice as is the last shot. Which I believe may be a juvenile Night Heron.
Looks like you had a successful day :):
Thanks for sharing,
Steve

Congratulations on the captue of that flighty butterfly, interesting colors too. I heard that the Palos Verdes Penninsula at a preserve type of location, has a rare blue butterfly there this year as a result of the rains. I'm thinking of trekking up there and checking it out. Cool captures of the wildlife blending right in with the urban scene. :):

Susan Hi ya Susan Thanks for viewing :thumb
I've heard of this butterfly, and in fact know of an area backside of LAX in El Segundo that is fenced and marked "Protected Blue Butterfly Perserve". However I've never seen one :scratch
Rumor has it that LAX did that so they could get the property, used to be houses there, now nuttin, I don't think any butterflys either :lol4 :lol
