replace old slideshow with video?

Can somebody please help me?

I have the old slideshow on my homepage as you can see (www.dididaniellephoto.com (http://www.dididaniellephoto.com/)). I need to know what steps (and in what order) I need to take to remove the slideshow and insert a video.

Can I make my own video (wmv or mpeg) and upload it to my homepage and have it centered and automatically start up? How do I do this? I'm sure there is a post with simple instructions but i've failed to find it.

I'm worried about what to erase safely in my CSS and javascript areas... So I want to be careful with that.

Do what?? I saw a video at the top (which stopped every half a second)...

I'm just trying to figure out how to replace my old slideshow on my homepage (www.dididaniellephoto.com (http://www.dididaniellephoto.com)) with either a video or a 'new' slideshow because as of now I can't make any changes to the slideshow. I'm just paranoid to delete anything, because I don't want to lose any customization of the rest of my site...
