OK, nobody else has commented yet -- so I guess I'll start.
I really like the colors, and you've done a good job with DOF. Great bokeh, that's for sure.
At the same time, I really wish the image showed more of the inside of the in-focus bloom. As is, the scene is almost *too* minimalistic to hold a viewer's attention for long.

Wonderful shot.
It does feel a bit over-saturated to me, but it might just be the monitor. I think you should crop out the in focus grass in the lower right, it is distracting.

I think it looks pretty nice.

Have you tried croping the right half of the shot away. You would then have it in portrait orientation and not so much "vague" space on the right. Colors are great.

well a really nice shot there....but why compose the subject on the left leaning to the left,,,kinda makes things off celter to me....

I appreciate all of the comments.
I will play around trying to get out the grass on the bottom right - now that I see it, it is distracting ;(
I don't know about the saturation but will go back to the original to see if I did something there.
As far as the crop, I was really going for the one poppy in focus with the others blurred behind it so that does not appeal to me.
As far as the leaning left. Darn. Now I feel that too \\\\. I am not sure I had much of an option as far as composition as I was looking for the right poppy to get in focus with a few sprinkled around it.
Always helpful to see the image through the eyes of others - thanks :)
