We had a couple of fine days but have since gone winterward again. Still I got a couple of pics of daffs to play about with:

I like the images. Could you write a little on how you created them?

Thanks,
Ian

I've tried to choose a couple with nostalgia value. They are not technically very much - taken in early digital days with an el cheapo camera. Hope they take you back to Cambridge for a moment or two.

Afraid my memory nowadays isn't up to retaining a lot! I use smart blur a lot, and play about with saturation and colour. I seem to end up always with about 50 layers to play with! Anything useful is as much luck as judgement. I love playing around.

Mary is a photographic purist in the Cartier Bresson mode!!! It makes for much domestic jossing!!

Smart blur and Nik's lighten centre I seem to remember. Sorry can't be more specific.

http://www.candlet.plus.com/temp/bb1.jpgOh thank you Tony... thank you how beautiful.. it took both me and husband back to Good Fridays in the English woods.. I used to collect them by the armfuls on my dads farm, up in the spinny. I loved them so much.:cry Scuse tears... brings back so many lovely memories.. I can almost smell the fragrance... I have'nt seen them for years. I used to sit in the spinny for hours on a damp log and just watch the sunlight play on the brilliant greens and blues of a carpet of sweet fragrant bluebells:cry :cry ...

Thank you so much.

Yes - the dainty fragrance of bluebells is a glorious experience. One not easy to find now alas. So glad you enjoyed the pics. More at my Smugmug site http://candlet.smugmug.com/gallery/88446 together with poppies and all sorts of stuff. I've only just joined SmugMug and am really enjoying it all. So much talent about. You muggers are a great crowd.
