customize most popular gallery

I am having trouble customizing the most popular gallery. There seems to be no way to do this from the control panel.

So I adjusted some CSS:
.popularGallery #stylebar {display: none;}
.popularGallery #altViews {display: none;}

This eliminated the user controled styles, but I the page still doesn't look like my other pages.
I need the popular gallery to have the "white" theme... but it is stuck in default and I can't figure out how to change it.

Change the default style to White in the control panel and it should apply.
