Hello,

does anyone know if there is a way to add or stream music from another site to one individual gallery (NOT my entire smugmug site)

DETAILS would be greatly appreciated!

THANKS

Ok thats good news, but I need a bit more help.
if I was getting the code from MySpace how could I get the code?
From YouTube I think that you can easily generate it.

I copied and pasted the code to the gallery description, but that didn't work. (I then removed it.) Maybe I put it in the wrong place. :dunno I was successful in putting music on my homepage.though. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Not sure if this will help, but I'll add my two cents.

First off... are you trying to have an mp3 file play when you load a specific gallery???

Now, I have not tried this on my SmugMug page yet (hadn't thought about it :D), but, I have done it with a happy birthday mp3 on a friends myspace page.

If you have a Google account, you will have access to their free Google Page Creator http://pages.google.com/

You get 100MB of storage space to make your personal free webpage from them.

I uploaded the mp3 file to my google page, from there, I linked it onto my friends MySpace comments and voila... you have whatever mp3 you want play where you want it...

I'm going to guesstimate that the same link source code that I used for my situation will be the code that Andy said to put in the description area...

Hope I made sense and hope that it helps...

You can find my gallery pages at www.JoePellicone.com
the gallery I want to add music to is under portraits Briella Nicole
She is a client and a Singer. I wanted to play one of her songs (from her MySpace page) while people are looking at her photos in my gallery.

So the music is already on the web and I can get a link to it. What I need to figure out is how to make it play when someone opens the Briella Nicole Gallery???

I added a code from Magnatune to my gallery description, but all I got on my Gallery is the album and artist’s name as links, no player and no sound. I even copied the code from a sample page where the player works, but not on my Gallery. What’s wrong? Here is my gallery with the code inserted - http://goldenwestphoto.smugmug.com/gallery/5136269_bBXnk#310431075_zih4J and here is teh code from Magnatune"
