Some more rally photos. Not as many keepers as I had with the Somerset Stages because I decided to really lower the shutter speed to inject as much motion as I could. I like a challenge!

I will probably keep to about 1/90th-180th for the next one. Having so much motion blur from 1/60th or below can be cool, but could become over used if I'm not careful.

I really like the photos, your slow shutter speed payed off well. Some of them are a little to much tilted for me. But they are very well done. Wish I had some rally racing in my area.

Yeah, I need to lay off the tilt :) Force of habit.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm going to another one in either two weeks time, or in July depending on how I'm fixed. Photographing rallying is quite addictive! I'm determined to get a good one of Andy Burton and his Peugeot Cosworth (that thing is incredible). My photo of him was totally messed up yesterday when two of the Marshals leant forward unexpectedly and clapped him right in front of the point on the corner I wanted to take a shot of him! :(

Nice shots. Good dynamic composition.

Man, the wheel's on the wrong side of the car :D

Nice shots. I like seeing the rallye cars as we don't get much of that here in
the states.

It is ALWAYS great to see rally shots! And these are some terrific shots with some very varied and interesting angles, but as already noted, too many tilted ones. :)

Nice to see the impression of speed there. Good sharp shots indicate smooth panning too.
