Has anyone a suggestion for a protective bag or case that would allow the use of a digital camera under moderate rain ?
I have heard about a shower cap ! Not that I want something fancy, but there must be a more efficient way (how do you turn knobs through a shower cap ?).

I have heard about a shower cap ! Not that I want something fancy, but there must be a more efficient way (how do you turn knobs through a shower cap ?). For less than $40, you cat get one of these (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=316856&is=REG). It's a KATA rain cover and will cover a body and maybe a 70-200.
I've been using one for a while. Works well.
If you want to use a plastic bag (veggie bag) and rubber band, that's
works too. Just be sure there are no holes in the bag :D

If money is no object, take a look at this (http://www.aquatech.com.au/products/sportshields/sportshields.htm).
The ads for this one shows a football photographer in the pouring rain.
