Wowzers,
I don't use CS3, and I don't understand the technicals, but in certain cases it has been reported that CS3 under the new OS X 10.5.3 can "corrupt the file permanently." :wow

Not good. If this concerns you, I advise you to read up.

I found it here (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=491269)

or here (http://www.hardmac.com/news/2008-05-30/#8340)

Seems to mainly affect those saving files over the network to servers. This is a practice that Adobe has always discouraged. Typically this advice has been ignored, but now we might be seeing why.

Not good, but after a bit of finger pointing I imagine Apple and/or Adobe will sort it out. This is a good example of why it's best to wait a while before installing new releases of any software. Try as they might, vendors cannot test all real-world situations.
