Album Cover - after the fact?

I've discovered that when I "send to SmugMug" I can choose a particular image as an Album Cover. But I uploaded some albums before discovering what that did, so it uses random pictures as the album cover. Is there a way to set an image as the album cover after the fact?

Go into your gallery. Make the photo you want to use the current photo. Use the photo tools dropdown and click "feature photo".

Great! Now, is there a way to make the featured photo from a specific gallery be the featured photo for the entire sub-category and for the entire category?

The featured photo for the first gallery in the category (or subcategory) is the one that is used.
