Nik. I like them...always a sucker for good close ups. Love the light. Of course, you also know my preferrence would involve skin treatment but this is your show. :D

I like these a lot ..
The only thing that I would like different , is the catch-light in the eyes , a bit large.
As I am fairly new to portraits , and trying to learn what makes what do what LOL
How would you go about making catch-lights smaller ???

Well, she's not young (I'm not gonna disclose her age, but she has a son of 20, so..:-), so "barbie" treatment didn't seem right... And she didn't want it either :-)

Walt, thank you!
Catchlight - I guess it's a manner of preferences. I don't mind this at all. However, to answer your question: the only three ways to make it smaller are:
Move the front light back (makes it harsher, harder to focus and requires more power)
Use a smaller diffuser (makes it harsher)
PS it outChoose your poison:-)

The entire shoot of her is fabulous. I love the close-ups and the hat! Her skin got a little weird on the B&W it seems to me. Great job all around:clap
