View Full Version : Video in Gallery

I have a test video that I uploaded a while back (http://eenusa.smugmug.com/gallery/4617389_ZRyP7#272379475_Uw75W). When I view the video, it is still through QuickTime. Do I need to upload the video again to be able to view it with the Flash Player?

If you're on a Mac, it will play on Quicktime in the gallery and Flash for embeds. We ran quite a few tests and Flash was using twice as much cpu as QT for Mac's. Until Adobe can fix that problem, it will continue to be in QT.

I'm on a PC using Windows XP (IE7), not a MAC, so that's not the problem. Is there something I need to download. I looked in the help section and read the news article, but didn't see anything that would answer my question.

I can't seem to reproduce that all. Can you check to make sure you have the latest version of Flash? http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/

Do other videos on SmugMug play in Flash for you? http://smugmungous.smugmug.com/gallery/3937352_83CkV#228662012_faqbm-A-LB

Will check when I get home - I downloaded the latest Flash on my work PC and that seems to work.

My Flash Player on the home PC must have been corrupted. Once I downloaded and reinstalled, it worked. Thanks.
