couple more questions! - search bar and thumbnail hover

just trying to fix the final few problems on my smugmug page

1.
my search bar on my site doesn't seem to move relative to the window size, it stays fixed in the same spot - how can i fix this?

2.
also how can i make it the words inside the search box form clear when clicked on?

3.
also on my homepage and concert pages in Internet Explorer sometimes when you hover over a thumbnail the icon jumps up a few pixels. what could be causing this?

okay, i think i have managed to sort out part 1 :D

can anyone help with 2 and 3?

i have also sort of acheived number 2
it is working in all of my galleries but NOT on my 'homepage' and 'find' page

does anyone have any idea why this could be?
