Indicating "newly added photos"???

Hi all,

I was wondering if there was a way to indicate that new photos have been added to galleries. I was specifically thinking whether or not you could get the nav bar on the homepage to highlite the particular gallery that had had recent additions. Is there anything like this around?

You could use the RSS feed to grab recent galleries. I am using that on my blog for both the Recent Photos and Recent Galleries links on my blog sidebar. I grabbed the URL that popped up when I clicked the RSS feed on my home page and I changed it a little.

Here's the link that pops up when I requested recent galleries:
http://www.denisegoldberg.com/hack/feed.mg?Type=nickname&Data=Denise&format=rss200

And here's the link I used in my blog, changed slightly:
http://www.denisegoldberg.com/hack/feed.mg?Type=nickname&Data=Denise&Size=Medium&ImageCount=10

There's no reason why you couldn't explicitly place a "recent galleries" link on your page - especially if you think your viewers won't notice the feeds.
