A vain attempt

at a photoshoot with my 2 older kids. With 1 turning 6 a few weeks ago and the other turning 3 on Tuesday, I thought I would save some $$ and take their birthday shots myself. Well, I will let you be the judge lol :rolleyes

Some nice shots here - No.1 makes me laugh.
The lighting is a bit harsh in these, were you using the built in flash? If not, bouncing the flash off the roof will give you much softer, more even lighting. It will also mean you wont get unwanted shadows on the walls around the subject.
I also think these are a little bit underexposed and lacking some 'pop'.
