I'm not sure if I'm asking in the right forum but I have 3 dead/stuck pixels on my sensor. I have an Olympus E-410. I think there may be another one since this shot but I'm just curious what anyone knowledgeable thinks. Here is a link, there are 2 green and one red. In more recent shots, there is a white one.

If you are seeing the same spots on all your shots then it does sound like a hot pixel.
If you only find them on a long shutter speed that are over several seconds than it may be noise, especially if randon and in different places.
I looked at the pics and it looks like a hot pixel to me.
If it bothers you a lot, then I'd repair it. If it only occurs with very long shutter speeds, you may want to just consider cloning it out. If you are seeing it in non consistent manner, I would think it may be a noise issue (which I don't think it is).
Looking at the image, if it was me, I'd probably just use cloning if they only occur with long shutter speed/night time shots.
Good luck.

I've moved this to cameras.

If they persist, use the "pixel mapping" function that's buried in the menu.

I'd have to agree with Tee... Just clone them out. :wink
I'm using PSPv11 and previously setup a script file that cloned out dead/hot pix's on my D100 shots. I had about 10 on long exposures (hot & dead) and 4 on regs (dead) that were easy enough to take care of. One button click and they were all corrected. May want to consider this...

Thanks for all the input, I wasn't even aware of the pixel mapping on my camera. I ran the PM and the hot pixels are gone. I have CS3 if they keep showing up.
Thanks again.

Most brands don't have it -- and to be honest I've never needed that function on any of my (olympus) cameras. I'm glad to hear that it worked for you.
